SCIM and Okta status

What Apereo CAS supports today.

Apereo CAS does not publish SCIM support, so we list it as Not published. Ask the vendor before you count on it.

Many campus apps expect SAML sign in through the InCommon Federation. Okta can federate with InCommon through an adapter, as Okta describes, so those apps keep their federated sign in while StitchOps handles the accounts behind them.

Common questions.

Does Apereo CAS support SCIM?

Apereo CAS does not publish SCIM support, so we list it as Not published. Ask the vendor before you count on it.

Can Apereo CAS accounts be automated without upgrading?

Yes. StitchOps creates, changes and removes Apereo CAS accounts on the plan you already have, triggered by the events your identity provider already sends. It uses an API when one exists and works anywhere a person can log in and act when one does not.

Is Apereo CAS in the Okta Integration Network?

No. As of October 20, 2026, the OIN has no listing for Apereo CAS. Okta can sign users in only through a custom app if Apereo CAS supports SAML or OIDC, and has no connector to manage Apereo CAS accounts.

Can Okta deprovision Apereo CAS users?

Not through an OIN connector. StitchOps removes Apereo CAS accounts the day someone leaves, anywhere a person can log in and act, and saves evidence of each removal.

How do you rotate Apereo CAS passwords when someone leaves?

StitchOps logs in to Apereo CAS, sets a new password, confirms it took effect, and updates 1Password, Keeper or the StitchOps vault in the same run.
