StitchOps for Okta
Okta decides. StitchOps executes past the OIN.
Okta governs the apps in the Okta Integration Network with SAML and SCIM. The apps outside it, the vendor portals and thick clients with neither, still run on tickets.
What the rest of the stack cannot reach.
StitchOps is the execution layer behind Okta. Okta decides who gets access and when it ends. StitchOps carries that decision into the apps the OIN cannot reach, on a worker VM in your environment, and returns the evidence. StitchOps is listed in the Okta Integration Network, and available through Okta partners as a co-sell and reseller motion.
Lifecycle past SCIM
Joiner, mover, and leaver in the apps without a SCIM connector, triggered by the Okta event.
Universal logout, everywhere
When Okta ends sessions on a risk signal, StitchOps ends them in the closed apps too.
Governed app-to-app action
Where Okta governs which app may act on which, StitchOps is the runtime that carries out the action in the apps with no API.
SSO into StitchOps itself
StitchOps supports SSO for B2B tenants through Okta, so the people who run the workflows sign in the way they sign in everywhere.
How it works with Okta.
Step 1
Okta decides
A user is created, changed, suspended, or flagged. An Okta Workflow, a webhook, or your IGA tool calls the StitchOps workflow with the user as a typed input.
Step 2
StitchOps executes
The agent on your worker VM makes the change in each closed app with a vaulted credential, step by step, with confirmation gates where you set them.
Step 3
The receipt returns
Status, timing, and evidence references go back to the Okta system log, the ticket, or the assistant that asked.
How it runs
Described once. Replayed every time.
Tell Stitch the task, review the typed steps, and save it. The agent runs it on a worker VM in your environment with a vaulted credential, and logs every step.

Offboard a suspended Okta user from the apps outside the OIN
Provision a role in a legacy app when an Okta group changes
End sessions in the closed apps when Okta acts on an identity threat signal
Rotate a shared portal password and update the vault
Run the quarterly access review across the apps Okta cannot read
Governance
Ask for it in plain language.
Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot can run these from your existing assistant. The model picks from typed tools; the agent owns the credentials and stops for confirmation on anything destructive.

Step 5 deactivates the user in vendor-portal. This cannot be undone by the workflow.

In the Okta Integration Network and Okta's Cross App Access ecosystem
StitchOps is listed in the Okta Integration Network and is a resource app in Okta's Cross App Access (XAA) ecosystem. Okta governs who and what can reach StitchOps, and StitchOps carries that governed access into the applications that were never built for it. Read the announcement.
For apps that don't support SAML or other federated sign on, StitchOps enterprise password management provides single sign on by injecting vaulted credentials, and supports shared credentials and shared MFA for shared accounts. Credential injection is designed to survive login page changes with vision and multiple locator tiers; failures surface with evidence for repair. It uses an optional browser extension, needed only for these capabilities.
Many apps sell SCIM only on their top plan. The SCIM tax calculator shows what that costs across your stack, and what you keep when StitchOps extends Okta to those apps on the plans you have.
