Identity automation for no-API apps

Identity automation past the SCIM boundary.

Directories and identity governance cover the apps with SCIM or an API. The other 20 to 40 apps in most environments still change hands through a ticket queue and a person with a shared login.

What the rest of the stack cannot reach.

StitchOps takes the directory event and completes the change inside the closed app, on a worker VM in your environment, and returns the evidence to the ticket or the audit log.

Joiner, mover, leaver in closed apps

The same change your directory makes in SCIM apps, made in the vendor portals and thick clients that have no connector.

Access reviews with evidence

Pull the user list from each closed app on a schedule, compare it to the directory, and file the differences with step-level evidence.

Credential rotation

Rotate a shared portal password and update the vault in one run, with a confirmation gate before the change.

Orphan account remediation

Take a spreadsheet of accounts with no owner and disable each one, asking before every destructive step.

How it works with your stack.

Step 1

The directory event fires

Okta, Entra ID, or JumpCloud disables or changes a user. A webhook, a scheduled query, or your IGA tool triggers the StitchOps workflow.

Step 2

StitchOps runs the change in the closed app

The agent on your worker VM logs into the portal or thick client with a vaulted credential and makes the change, step by step.

Step 3

Evidence returns

Step-level status, timing, and evidence references go back to the ticket, the audit log, or the assistant that asked.

How it runs

Described once. Replayed every time.

Tell Stitch the task, review the typed steps, and save it. The agent runs it on a worker VM in your environment with a vaulted credential, and logs every step.

What you can finally automate.

Offboard a user from closed apps after the directory disables them

Provision roles that an app's SCIM does not cover

Verify access was actually removed and capture the evidence

Rotate a shared portal password and update the password manager

Bulk-remediate orphaned accounts from a spreadsheet

Governance

Ask for it in plain language.

Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot can run these from your existing assistant. The model picks from typed tools; the agent owns the credentials and stops for confirmation on anything destructive.

Run
Offboard j.doe@example.com from the three portals SCIM doesn't cover and show me the evidence.

I found a saved workflow for this. Running it on worker-01.

Confirmation required

Step 5 deactivates the user in vendor-portal. This cannot be undone by the workflow.

The SCIM tax

Your identity provider can provision any app that offers SCIM. Many apps offer it only on their top plan. SCIM pricing by app shows which ones, with sources, and the calculator sizes it for your team.
