Dealer licensing and regulators · Canada
AMVIC license checks against your DMS and CRM users.
Every month StitchOps compares the salespeople who can log in to your DMS and CRM at your Alberta stores with their AMVIC license status. It flags anyone selling without a current license, saves the license records for the office manager, and keeps a record of every check.
All supported dealer systems →What's hard about AMVIC today.
In Alberta, salespeople need a current AMVIC license to sell. Keeping track of that is usually a spreadsheet the office manager updates when they can. Meanwhile new hires get DMS and CRM logins right away, and nobody lines up who is selling with who is licensed until something goes wrong.
What StitchOps does in AMVIC.
Monthly license check
StitchOps lists everyone who can log in to the DMS and CRM at each Alberta store, looks up their AMVIC license status, and puts the two side by side.
Anyone selling without a license, flagged
A salesperson with an active login but no current license shows up at the top of the report, so the GM can act before the next deal.
License records saved for the office
The license status records from each check are saved where the office manager keeps them, ready if anyone asks.
Ties into new hires and people who leave
The same people list StitchOps uses to set up and remove DMS and CRM access is the one it checks against AMVIC, so the lists never drift apart.
A record of every check
Each monthly check is saved with what was looked up, when, and what was found.

Common questions.
What does StitchOps actually check?
It compares the people with active DMS and CRM logins at your Alberta stores against their AMVIC license status, and flags anyone who is set up to sell without a current license.
Does StitchOps renew or file licenses with AMVIC?
No. Licensing stays with your store and AMVIC. StitchOps checks status and saves the records so you know where you stand.
Can it remove DMS and CRM access for someone who is not licensed?
It can, if you want that. Most stores choose to have StitchOps flag the person first so a manager decides what happens next.
We also have stores in Ontario. Does this cover OMVIC?
The same monthly check can be set up for Ontario salespeople and OMVIC, and for state dealer licensing at US stores. We set it up per province or state with you.
How often does the check run?
Monthly by default. You can run it more often, or before a busy weekend, if you prefer.
Does AMVIC support SCIM?
AMVIC does not publish it. Ask the vendor which plan includes SCIM provisioning before you rely on it.
Can AMVIC accounts be automated without upgrading?
Yes. StitchOps creates, changes and removes AMVIC accounts on the plan you already have, triggered by the events your identity provider already sends. It uses an API when one exists and works anywhere a person can log in and act when one does not.
Is AMVIC in the Okta Integration Network?
No. As of October 10, 2026, the OIN has no listing for AMVIC. Okta can sign users in only through a custom app if AMVIC supports SAML or OIDC, and has no connector to manage AMVIC accounts.
Can Okta deprovision AMVIC users?
Not through an OIN connector. StitchOps removes AMVIC accounts the day someone leaves, anywhere a person can log in and act, and saves evidence of each removal.
How do you rotate AMVIC passwords when someone leaves?
StitchOps logs in to AMVIC, sets a new password, confirms it took effect, and updates 1Password, Keeper or the StitchOps vault in the same run.
For your IT team
- Where it runs
- An agent runs an unattended desktop session on a dedicated worker VM in your environment, on Windows or macOS. It connects outbound only over TLS 1.2 or later. No inbound ports are opened.
- Credentials
- Credentials stay in your vault (1Password or Keeper) or in the StitchOps vault, encrypted with AWS KMS and resolved on the worker at run time. Models never see the values.
- Identity systems
- Changes in Okta, Entra ID or Active Directory can start a task. StitchOps carries them into dealer systems that have no SCIM or API. JumpCloud is supported through our joint program. StitchOps is listed in the Okta Integration Network.
- APIs where they exist
- Where a system offers an API, such as Authenticom DealerVault or Fortellis, StitchOps uses it. Everything else runs through browser or desktop automation, anywhere a person can log in and act.
- Logs and telemetry
- Every run keeps step level logs with status, timing and redacted results. Telemetry is content free: no field values, no personal data, no screenshots.
- Security reviews
- SOC 2 Type 2 audit completed. ISO 27001 certified. Penetration tested by a third party. The security packet is shared under NDA.
- AI assistants
- Approved tasks are available as MCP tools to Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot. Destructive actions need explicit confirmation.
