SCIM and API tax

What Kubecost / Apptio charges to automate accounts.

Kubecost / Apptio does not offer SCIM provisioning on any plan. There is no SCIM tax to pay, and no plan that lets your identity provider create, change and remove Kubecost / Apptio accounts through SCIM.

SSO sits on the same plan as SCIM or above it. If you need SSO anyway, that upgrade is not avoidable, and the calculator counts it that way.

Pricing notes

Now IBM Kubecost under Apptio. Enterprise tier adds SSO/SAML/RBAC but no SCIM endpoint documented. Business starts about $449 a month.

Common questions.

Does Kubecost / Apptio support SCIM?

No. Kubecost / Apptio does not offer SCIM provisioning on any plan, so accounts are created and removed by hand, by file import, or by a tool that works in Kubecost / Apptio the way an admin would.

Can Kubecost / Apptio accounts be automated without upgrading?

Yes. StitchOps creates, changes and removes Kubecost / Apptio accounts on the plan you already have, triggered by the events your identity provider already sends. It uses an API when one exists and works anywhere a person can log in and act when one does not.

Is Kubecost / Apptio in the Okta Integration Network?

Yes. As of October 10, 2026, the OIN lists Apptio with SAML, SWA sign in and no provisioning.

Can Okta deprovision Kubecost / Apptio users?

Not through an OIN connector. StitchOps removes Kubecost / Apptio accounts the day someone leaves, anywhere a person can log in and act, and saves evidence of each removal.
