SCIM and API tax

What ReadMe charges to automate accounts.

ReadMe does not offer SCIM provisioning on any plan. There is no SCIM tax to pay, and no plan that lets your identity provider create, change and remove ReadMe accounts through SCIM.

SSO sits on the same plan as SCIM or above it. If you need SSO anyway, that upgrade is not avoidable, and the calculator counts it that way.

Pricing notes

ReadMe offers SAML SSO/OAuth on Business+/Enterprise but does not currently offer SCIM provisioning. Status changed from 'unknown' to 'none'. Enterprise starts $3,000+ a month. Pro is flat priced.

Common questions.

Does ReadMe support SCIM?

No. ReadMe does not offer SCIM provisioning on any plan, so accounts are created and removed by hand, by file import, or by a tool that works in ReadMe the way an admin would.

Can ReadMe accounts be automated without upgrading?

Yes. StitchOps creates, changes and removes ReadMe accounts on the plan you already have, triggered by the events your identity provider already sends. It uses an API when one exists and works anywhere a person can log in and act when one does not.

Is ReadMe in the Okta Integration Network?

Yes. As of October 10, 2026, the OIN lists Readme and ReadMe SAML with SWA, SAML sign in and no provisioning.

Can Okta deprovision ReadMe users?

Not through an OIN connector. StitchOps removes ReadMe accounts the day someone leaves, anywhere a person can log in and act, and saves evidence of each removal.
