SCIM and API tax
What Backblaze charges to automate accounts.
Backblaze includes SCIM provisioning only on Add-on (Enterprise Control), at $10.25 per user a month. The plan most teams buy is Business Backup, $8.25 per user a month.
SSO sits on the same plan as SCIM or above it. If you need SSO anyway, that upgrade is not avoidable, and the calculator counts it that way.
Pricing notes
Per computer (not per user) pricing. Business Backup about $99 per computer a year; with Enterprise Control add on about $123 per computer a year (= $24 per computer a year add on). Enterprise Control includes SCIM/SSO. Multiplier compares total with add on vs base. StitchOps correction: the SCIM add on is charged on top of the base plan, so the plan with SCIM is 8.25 plus 2 per computer a month.

Yes, but only on Add-on (Enterprise Control), at $10.25 per user a month. On the plan most teams buy, SCIM is not available.
Which Backblaze plan includes SCIM?
Add-on (Enterprise Control), at $10.25 per user a month, against Business Backup, $8.25 per user a month for the plan most teams buy.
Can Backblaze accounts be automated without upgrading?
Yes. StitchOps creates, changes and removes Backblaze accounts on the plan you already have, triggered by the events your identity provider already sends. It uses an API when one exists and works anywhere a person can log in and act when one does not.
Is Backblaze in the Okta Integration Network?
Yes. As of October 10, 2026, the OIN lists Backblaze with SWA sign in and no provisioning.
Can Okta deprovision Backblaze users?
Not through an OIN connector. StitchOps removes Backblaze accounts the day someone leaves, anywhere a person can log in and act, and saves evidence of each removal.
How do you rotate Backblaze passwords when someone leaves?
StitchOps logs in to Backblaze, sets a new password, confirms it took effect, and updates 1Password, Keeper or the StitchOps vault in the same run.
