SCIM and API tax

What Slack charges to automate accounts.

Slack includes SCIM provisioning only on Business+, at $15 per user a month. That is 2.1 times the price of the plan most teams buy (Pro, $7.25 per user a month). For 100 users, the SCIM tax comes to about $9,300 a year.

SSO sits on a cheaper plan than SCIM (about $12.5 per user a month), so if you need SSO, only the difference between those two plans is avoidable.

Pricing notes

Business+ raised from $12.50 to $15 per user a month in 2025 due to AI bundling. SCIM provisioning gated to Business+ and above. Enterprise+ (formerly Grid/Select) consolidated August 2024.

Common questions.

Does Slack support SCIM?

Yes, but only on Business+, at $15 per user a month. On the plan most teams buy, SCIM is not available.

Which Slack plan includes SCIM?

Business+, at $15 per user a month, against Pro, $7.25 per user a month for the plan most teams buy. At 100 users the difference is about $9,300 a year.

Can Slack accounts be automated without upgrading?

Yes. StitchOps creates, changes and removes Slack accounts on the plan you already have, triggered by the events your identity provider already sends. It uses an API when one exists and works anywhere a person can log in and act when one does not.

Is Slack in the Okta Integration Network?

Yes. As of October 10, 2026, the OIN lists Slack with SAML, SWA sign in and provisioning to create, update and deactivate users.

Can Okta deprovision Slack users?

Yes. The OIN connector deactivates Slack accounts when a user is removed in Okta.
